Bobby A Dutton, Sr.

Bobby A. Dutton, Sr. age 81, went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2019, while being comforted by his wife and children in his home after a long battle with COPD. Bobby was born on March 7, 1938. He was the son of the late James and Lola Mae Dutton of Columbus, GA.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2019 beginning at 2pm EST at Colonial Funeral Home with Ricky Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00pm EST at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Billy Dutton, Woody Dutton, and Mickey Dutton, all of Columbus, GA. Two sisters, Katherine Johnson of Columbus, GA, and Linda Martin of Fresno, CA. One granddaughter, Jessica N. Dutton of Phenix City, AL, and one great granddaughter, Samriah Parker of Phenix City, AL.

The surviving relatives are his loving and caring wife, Grace Dutton, of 52 years. One daughter, Beth Polk (Steven) of Smiths Station, AL. Three sons, Luke Dutton of Smiths Station, AL, James Dutton (Wanda) of Ellerslie, GA, and Bobby L. Dutton (Bub) of Smiths Station, AL. Eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three sisters, Geri Erwin of Columbus, GA, Nancy Toone of TX and Annette Ashman of PA.
