Obituary
Bobbie Jean Laplante, 87, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
Mrs. Laplante was born August 16, 1935 to the late, Ellis Elmore and Bessie "Romell" Fowler in Houston County, Alabama. She worked at AHP Medical as an inspector and then Sunshine Biscuits. Mrs. Laplante had a big heart, was an animal lover and had a green thumb. She enjoyed going for walks, going to the beach and nature. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Laplante; and one son, Raymond Keith Laplante.
Surviving are her daughter, Katherine Byrd; son, Richard Laplante; granddaughter and best friend in life, Ravin Hudgins; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
