Benjamin Wayne Ritch, Jr.

Benjamin Wayne Ritch, Jr., 66, of Opelika, Alabama passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 12, 2021 at 3:00 PM ET at Riverdale Cemetery with Rev. David Helms officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery prior to services from 2:00 to 3:00 PM ET.

Mr. Ritch was born September 5, 1954 to Benjamin Wayne Ritch, Sr. and Dolores Brown Ritch in Columbus, Georgia. He worked as a lineman at Ritch Electric and was a member of Eastern Heights Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kristin Lynn Ritch.

Surviving are his son, Benjamin Wayne Ritch (Danielle); grandchildren, Gabrielle Ritch and Brock Ritch, all of Opelika, Alabama; grandson, Garrett Ritch-Green Andrea of Pooler, Georgia and sister, Betsy Ritch-Reed (John) of Columbus, Georgia.
