Arthur Robinson

Mr. Arthur Robinson was born to the late Jimmie and Bessie Robinson in Russell County, AL on April 30, 1947. Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM EST/ 1:00 PM CST at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3755 South Seale Road, Phenix City, Alabama 36869. Arthur was married to Annie Greene on October 7, 1967 and they were united for over 55 years. From this union, four children were born. Reginald (Teresa) Robinson; Sandricka (Keith) Joseph; Quinton Robinson, all of Phenix City, AL, and Kimberly Robinson of New Orleans, LA. Together they have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Siblings: Jimmie (Nettie) Robinson of Anniston, AL; Oscar (Cheryl) Robinson of Phenix City, AL; Dorothy Jackson and Alma Williams, both of Seale, AL and a host of other family and friends. Arthur was preceded in death by both parents, his eldest son, Reginald Robinson, and younger brother, Wilbur Robinson.

He retired from Dillard's, where he worked as a men’s suit clothier. He enjoyed spending time outside and paid particular attention to the detail of his well-manicured lawn. One of his favorite hobbies was fishing, especially deep-sea fishing alongside his wife, Annie. Arthur was known for being a jokester and riddler, and for his extensive knowledge of God’s word. He loved Jehovah, and spoke daily of the promises recorded in the Bible to family, friends, and anyone else that he encountered.

On May 30, 1976 Arthur dedicated his life to Jehovah and remained a faithful servant until his death on February 9, 2023.
