Alex Quentin Wenrick, 31, of Mesa, Arizona passed from this life to the next on October 8, 2021 in Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 25, at 11:00 AM at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Alabama with Pastor Ken Dawson of Cascade Hills Baptist Church officiating. Honor Guard will be provided by the 2nd Battalion, 58th Infantry Regiment from Fort Benning, Georgia.
Alex was born May 3, 1990 in Mesa, Arizona to Kenneth Allen Wenrick and Elizabeth (Malmquist) Bryson. He joined the Army in 2009 and served as an Infantryman in the 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment of Fort Stewart, GA. Alex is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom 2010-2011. He loved music, art and nature. Alex will be dearly missed by friends, family and loved ones for his generous spirit, sense of humor and love of life.
Alex is survived by his sister, Erin Ashley Wenrick; his father, Kenneth A. Wenrick; his mother, Elizabeth O. Bryson; his stepfather James E. Bryson; and his grandparents, Quentin and Cynthia Malmquist.
