William Kenneth Gibson, Jr.

William "Ken" Gibson, Jr., 55, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Sunday morning, June 10, 2018 at his home.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 PM ET at Colonial  Funeral Home Chapel.

Ken was born July 31,1962 in Columbus, Georgia to the late William Kenneth Gibson, Sr. and Mildred Self Gibson. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, Alabama football fan, enjoyed fishing, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ken was a commercial and residential painter.

Surviving are his wife, Melissa Carlette Floyd, children, Melissa Core (Brandon), Del Gilley, Jr., and Kendall Louise Gibson (Xavier Brown), brother, David Gibson, sister, Karen Barber, 4 grandchildren, Delana Gilley, Brennan Core, Zoey Core, and Zaedyn Brown.
