Shirley Lynn Moman

Shirley Lynn Moman, 69, of Seale, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1:00pm ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama with Rev. Sammy Turner officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00pm ET at Colonial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moman was born December 29, 1950 to Benjamin Doyle Chastain, Sr. and Mildred Louise Callaway in Maryland. She worked as a seamstress, was a member of Avalon Woods Baptist Church and formerly a member of Seale Baptist Church, which is now known as New Beginnings Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, computer games, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Harold Edward Moman, Sr.; son, Ted Moman; 2 daughters, Becca Coleman (Chris) and Sandra Olds (Matthew); 8 grandchildren, Jessica, Victoria, Christian, Courtni, Hailey, Gaige, Nickolas and Will; 3 great-grandchildren, Devinn, Maeson and Tanner; 3 sisters, Pat Sowell (Gene), Brendia Chastain and Donna Boling (Ricky); brother, Benny Chastain (Judy); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospitals.
