Sarah Katherine (Culpepper) Faircloth

Sarah Katherine (Culpepper) Faircloth 88 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away November 24, 2019. Funeral Services will be held graveside 11:00am ET Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery with Rev. Brooks Ward officiating. A viewing will be held 5-7pm ET Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Colonial Funeral Home. 

Sarah was born on June 13, 1931 to Earley and Eva (Boland) Culpepper in Eufaula, Alabama.She was an avid crossword puzzler, braves baseball fan and enjoyed cooking for family and friends, her hush puppies, dumplings and sweet tea were always favorites of the family. She also liked watching soap operas and facetiming on her Ipad to check up on everyone. loved spending time with her children and grandchildren in all their activities. She was known to always put everyone else first and always seemed to find the good in everyone. 

She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Floyd Faircloth, her parents, sisters Mary Daugherty, Louise Mobley and Lorraine Gamble, brother Dewitt Culpepper, son in law Jimmy Weaver and her oldest son Kenneth Floyd Faircloth. Survivors include son,  Jim Faircloth (Patricia)  Phenix City, AL., daughter, Patsy Faircloth Weaver  Phenix City, AL, daughter,  Glenda Faircloth  Wilson, Cataula, GA, son  Randy Faircloth (April) Lawrence, KS, son Bill Faircloth (Kathy) Opelika, AL, daughter Carol Faircloth Ward (Tim) Phenix City, AL, daughter Kathy Faircloth Powell (John) Phenix City, AL, daughter Nancey Faircloth McMahon (Sonny) Smiths, AL, brother William Culpepper.  Twenty-Two grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildern.
