Ronald Eugene Thompson, 52, of Salem, Alabama passed away September 21, 2019. The family will hold a private service.

Ronald was born August 26, 1967 in Phenix City, Alabama to Jerry Thompson and Margaret Cole Benton. He worked as a body shop painter, enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, golf, grilling and camping.

Surviving are his mother, Margaret Benton; son, Ronald "Eric" Thompson (Julie); daughter, Summer Burton; sister, Adriane Haines; brother, Steve Moschella (Jennifer); grandchildren, Mason Thompson, Maleah Thompson, Peyton Hardy and Caleb Burton; step-mother, Viola Thompson; step-brothers, Jeffery Thompson, Josh Thompson (Shelly) and Mickey Benton (Melinda); step-sisters, Tammy Thompson (Bruce) and Michelle Briggs; nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
