Robert Carroll Head

Graveside services for Robert Carroll Head, 76, of Leesburg, Alabama formerly of Phenix City, Alabama will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 beginning at 2:30 PM EST at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery with full military honors and his brother, Donnie Head officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12-2 pm at the funeral home.

Robert was born October 31, 1941 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Bennie and Mary Stephenson Head. He retired with over 20 years service with the U.S Navy,serving in Viet Nam, and receiving a bronze star. He was proud to be a prospect with the Iron Order Motorcycle Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son,John Head, and 2 sisters, Sarah Robinson and Zera Livingston.

Surviving are his daughter, Kathy Huff, 3 sons, James Head, Michael Head, and Paul Head, a brother, Donnie Head and wife Rhonda, 2 sisters, Georgia Jordan, and Peggy Johnson  and husband K.D., 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
