Renee Yvonne Owens, 65 of Columbus, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 in Columbus, Georgia.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church beginning at 12:00 Noon.

Renee was born April 13, 1953 in Columbus, Georgia. She graduated from Coral Gables High School in Coral Gables, Florida. She worked as a mortgage banker before going on to be a caretaker for the elderly. She loved caring for the elderly and showing them that someone loved them. Renee was an animal lover, who was dedicated to her dog, Ruby, and cat, Sylvester. She is preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Thomas Barnes Owens, Sr.  and Beulah Owens, as well as her father, Donald Eugene Owens.

Surviving are her sister, Deborah Owens and her husband, Jon Graber.
