Patricia White, 81, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018. A Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 1:30 PM EST at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Phenix City, Alabama with Pastor Hank Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 12:30 PM EST. Interment will follow the service at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama.
Pat was born July 15, 1937 in Lumberton, North Carolina to Bruce Roberts and Clara Collins Roberts. She was a member of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church and Eastern Star and attended Sunday school. Pat was a retired bank teller and went on to work as a Funeral Home receptionist at Colonial Funeral Home, Vance Memorial Chapel and McMullen Funeral Home. She enjoyed NASCAR, football, shopping, traveling and her computer. Patricia took her dog, "Little Buddy" to Bojangles daily for a biscuit and fed neighborhood cats.
Surviving are her loving husband of 40 years, John Preston White, Jr., son, Wayne Walters (Lisha), grandson, Jonathan Wayne Walters, sister, Cammie Vanover, nieces and nephews, Bonnie, Wanda and Jim Groce, sister-in-law, Linda Diane White and nephew, "Little Tom" Christopher Thomas White.
