June Diane Smith, 68, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Piedmont Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 2:00pm ET at Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Brad McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm ET at Colonial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith was born June 13, 1951 to James Tira Higdon and Margaret Temples Higdon in Columbus, Georgia. She is preceded in death by Francis Higdon and Eugene Higdon.
Surviving are her husband, James Smith; daughter, Lisa (Ronnie) Schaetzer; son, Brian Smith; grandson, Jesse Schaetzer; sister, Jackie (James) Connell and brother, Frankie (Kathy) Higdon.
Flowers will be accepted, but those who wish may make memorial contributions to PAWS.
