John Alfred Southern, 63, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Piedmont Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.

John was born March 29, 1956 to John Alton Southern and Eileen Lambourne Southern in Fort Rucker, Alabama. He retired from Tire King/Tires First as a front end alignment mechanic.

Surviving are his brothers, Robert G. Southern of Phenix City, Alabama and Kenneth M. Southern of Lillington, North Carolina; sisters, Margret A. Kozee of Spring Lake, North Carolina, Mary S. Back of Lillington, North Carolina, Betty J. Carloni of Sanford, North Carolina and Barbara L. Laflor of Spring Lake, North Carolina.
