Jerry Maxwell Pittman, 77, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away at his home Wednesday evening, October 25th, 2017.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 28,  2017, 2:00 PM  at Colonial Funeral Home's Chapel with Rev. Lynn McManus and Rev. Joe Williams  officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12-2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mr. Pittman was born September 11th, 1940 in Russell County, Alabama to the late Adrian Maxwell Pittman and Lizzie Eleanor Bundy Carden. He was a self employed master carpenter, enjoyed fishing, bowling, family, and was an avid Alabama football fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sons, Jerry Maxwell Pittman, Jr., Larry Maxwell Pittman, and James David Pittman. a sister, Eleanor Jean Katona, 4 brothers, Clifford Ray Pittman, Ira Daniel Pittman, Walter Frank Pittman, and David Wesley Pittman.
Surviving are his wife, Annie "Faye" Singleton Pittman, 2 sons, Wayne (Amelia) Pittman, William "Will" (Melonie) Pittman, a brother, Harvey Mitchum "Mitch" Pittman, 6 grandchildren, Steven Lee Pittman, Christina Renee Pittman, Kayla Hope Pittman, Taylor Morgan Pittman, Lorin Faith Pittman, and William "Jerrad" Pittman, a great granddaughter, Amy- Lynn Grace Pittman, sister in laws, Mary Sue Pittman, wife of the late Clifford Ray Pittman, Catherine Pittman, and Diana Pittman, wives of the late Ira Daniel Pittman, and Charlotte Pittman, wife of the late David Wesley Pittman, a brother in law, Steve Katona, husband of the late Eleanor Jean Katona.
