Grover Carlton Free, 82, of Smiths Station, Alabama passed away Friday, August 10, 2018.

Mr. Free was born January 01, 1936 in Tallasee, Alabama to the late, Enoch Hermon Free and Icie Ledbetter. He spent most of his working life at R&D Restaurant in Seattle. He enjoyed going to church, singing and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Conrad Edward Free, John Lacy Free, and sister, Mildred Edna Free.

Surviving are his daughter, Carla Jo Pettyjohn, 2 sisters, Isabelle Inez McCain, Jettie Ruth Pybus, niece, Linda Newsome, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many grandchildren.
