Gladys Lewis Barefoot

   Gladys Lewis Barefoot 95 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away May 13, 2018. Funeral Service will be held 3 p.m (ET) Wednesday May 16, 2018  at Colonial Funeral Home with interment following service at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia. Pastor Joshua Dempsey will be officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday May 15  from 2 to 4 p.m. (ET) at Colonial Funeral Home.

Gladys was born April 4, 1923. She was passionate about gardening, growing vegetables and flowers in her garden. Sunday afternoons she would spend with family and friends cooking fried chicken for everyone. Gladys was a beloved mother and Grandmother. 

 Surviving are her son Kenneth Barefoot and his wife Becky, daughter Wendy Gorski, as well as Six Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren.
