Gerald "Mike" Walsh

Gerald "Mike" Walsh, 67, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6, 2020 , 1:00 PM EST at Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Seth Carroll officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeview  Memory Gardens.

Mr. Walsh was born October 5, 1952 in Phenix City, Alabama. He worked as a car painter, loved Alabama football, drag racing, wrestling and riding motorcycles. He is preceded in death by his father, George Price; mother, Nellie R. Harrelson; uncles,  Oscar Greer and Alvin Greer; aunts, Brenda Scruggs, Christine Turner and Velma Greer,Alice Terry(William),Patricia Lamabard,

Surviving are his better half of 31 years, Elaine Walsh; step-daughter, Tammy Leamon; and Jessica Carden (Trey);  cousins, Norma Jean Hayes (Lennord), Patsy Carroll (Seth), Cathy Hall, Erica Page, Sheila Hickman(Ronnie), Ricky Hall(Robin) and Daniel Hall; as well as numerous relatives. 

Family request friends to wear Alabama apparel to service.
