Gerald Cobb McCall, 62 died at his home in Columbus, Ga on New Years weekend. He was born at City Hospital in Columbus, Ga February 18, 1955 to Sgt. Earl E. and Frances McCall. 

 His First years were spent in Tidewater, Virginia and Fort Sill, Oklahoma his fathers military postings. In 1958 the family moved back to Georgia, where his father died in 1959.

 Gerald attended River Road elementary, Daniel Jr. High and graduated from Hardaway High School in 1973. Columbus College came after that where he majored in art. 

He went to work for Columbus Foundries in 1975. He worked as a specialist in metrology lab until his death. 

Both sets of grand parents and his father and sister June, predeceased him. He leaves his mother Frances, two brothers Earl E. (Kim) and Stephen (Kay) McCall, Two maternal aunts Eunice Mae Wilson and Sharon Ray and one uncle Bobby Ray Streetman. Two nieces and nephews. Lots of Cousins scattered over the U.S.A Lifetime friends and co-workers. A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 5 at Colonial Funeral Home at 11:00am EST.
