Gary Brookshaw Obituary
Gary Richard Brookshaw (76) of Seale, Alabama, passed away on March 13, 2018 surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness. He was born December 22, 1941 in Elmwood, WI.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ardyth Lucille Harshman and father John Harshman.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol, daughter Shawn Brookshaw-Johnson and husband Darryl Johnson of Murchison, Texas, granddaughter Brooke Williams of Huntsville, Texas, grandson Ethan Williams and great grandson Aiden Williams of Tyler, Texas, and a special cousin Gail Andrews of Melrose, Florida.
Gary was a calf roper, farrier, trained and showed horses for many years to national and world titles while coaching youth and amateurs. Gary owned and operated M&L Feed and Supply for 21 years. Gary was a Vietnam War Veteran.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 16, 2018 at Colonial Funeral Home. Visitors are welcome at 10am EST followed by services at 11 am EST.
