Elesa Curenton, 57, Smiths Station, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017.  Funeral Service will be held at Colonial Funeral Home’s Chapel on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM EDT. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM EDT on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Interment will be at Ladonia Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Survivors are her husband, Randy W. Curenton, brother, Eddie Nix of Phenix City, AL; son, John Rogers of Huntsville, AL; Stepdaughter, Melissa Noel Hightower of Karens, TX; and, father, Elvin Nix of Phenix City, AL.

Preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Nix.
