I can sympathize with you during this sad time .Our Heavenly Father hates death ,it is viewed as an enemy. Notice at Ezekiel 18:22 which says "I take no pleasure in the death of the cause of death.

God never intended for humans to die. That is why one of the most painful emotions we experience is grief over the death of a loved one. (1Co 15:26) And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing. JW.org
