Donnie R. Tatum

Donnie R. Tatum, 78, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery beginning at 2:00 PM EDST with military honors and Rev. Mark Sasser officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 - 1:30 PM at the funeral home prior to procession to the cemetery.

Mr. Tatum was born February 29, 1940 in Evergreen, Alabama to the late Patrick Tatum and Ethel Harper Tatum. He served in the U.S. Air Force, retired from Columbus Consolidated Government supervising the heating/air conditioning department, and enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends and being around people. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William Tatum and James Tatum.

Surviving are his daughter, Angie Tatum DeNamur, grandson, Jake Andrew DeNamur, 2 sisters, Jayne Tatum Anderson, and Glenda Tatum Hawsey, 2 brothers, Glen Tatum and Wayne Tatum, several nieces and nephews.
