Diane Ferguson

Diane Ferguson, 56, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019. 

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Colonial Funeral Home beginning at 4:00 pm ET. 

Denny (Diane) was born in Bell texas, her family moved to Columbus ga and this is where her father retired and Denny remained the rest of her life. She graduated from Hardaway high school in 1981 along with her very dear friend Debbie Cobb Tilly. Anyone that knew Denny ,knew that she had health issues from a young girl that kept her from some of the dreams that she may have had, but it didnt stop her from living life. She was was good at looking for the positive and and trying to find joy in whatever situation she was in. She lived life one day at a time and didnt complain about the lot in life that was hers. Even with the obstacles in her life she never lost her quick wit or the ability to hear from a mile away, she was sharp as a tac.Denny gave life to the Lord in 1973 at Hilton Terrace Baptist Church.  During the latter part of her life she had made peace with God  and would always say "I'm ready".

She is preceded in death by parents Edward and Lola Mae Ferguson, sister Barbara Moore, and brother Gary Ferguson. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
