Deanie Pauline Long Dansby

Deanie Pauline Long Dansby was born on March 7, 1965 at Fort Benning, Georgia to Syble B. Long and the late Huey P. Long. She was a Christian by faith and a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Cottonton, AL. She was a Florist by trade, and always had a big heart and sweet spirit.

She passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her Father, Huey P. Long.

Survivors include her Mother, Syble B. Long of Seale, AL; Brother, Thurston (Linda) Long of Pittsview, AL; Sisters, Serrena (Felton) Biggs of Pittsview, AL and Susan Long of Seale, AL. Nieces, Krista (Will) Tillman, Ashley (James) Noss, Ivy Long and Autumn Biggs. Nephew, Ellis (Emily) Biggs. Great Niece, Emma Tillman and Great Nephews, Dylan Tillman and Eli Biggs. Family members of the heart Elizabeth Letlow, Reginald Shumate, Kevin Milligan and a host of extended family and friends.

Services will be on Wednesday, July 17 , 2019 at 2:00 pm EST at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 1954 Highway 165, Cottonton, AL 36871, with Pastor Barry Fleming and others officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 7:00-9:00pm EST at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL 36867.
