Darrell McClendon Hardy, 54 of Rockford, Alabama passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM CST at Colonial Funeral Home & Crematory's Chapel.

Darrell was born November 12, 1962 in Tallahassee, Florida to Leonard McClendon Hardy, Jr. and Sandra Hawsey Hardy. He was employed with Kasai North America as production manager, was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved camping. He was preceded in death by his father.

Surviving are his wife, Kristal Hardy of Rockford, Alabama, son, Jacob Hardy of Tampa, Florida presently serving the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, mother, Sandra Hardy of Columbus, Georgia, brothers, Shandon Hardy of Columbus, Georgia, Michael Hardy  and wife, Kelli of Prattville, Alabama, sisters, Tonya Roy and husband, Joseph of Columbus, Georgia, Kelli Puglise and husband, Michael of Snellville, Georgia, several nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, like a brother, Ashley Hill of Gwinnett, Georgia.
