Brenda Claire Robinson Barfield, 68, of Salem, AL passed away on January 17, 2020. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00am ET at Woodland Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama.
Mrs. Barfield was born in Pensacola, FL on April 21, 1951 to Amos T. Robinson and Mary McCarter Robinson Riley. She was a 1969 graduate of Central High School and a graduate of Troy State University. She retired from Civil Service at Ft. Benning, GA. She shared in her late husband's train hobby and enjoyed their many friends and social events through the Canton St. Paul Train Club as well as many other Train Clubs and traveled all over the United States for these events. She enjoyed genealogy, shopping for antiques, thrifting, and had a great love of games. She was a member of the Lakewood Baptist Church Dominoes Group and the Canasta Chicks Card Club, she will be sorely missed by all her friends.
She is preceded in death by her Husband David C. Barfield; parents Amos T. Robinson, Mary McCarter Riley and brother Tommy Robinson.
She is survived by two children, Niki Barefield (Rodney) and Richard Barfield (Caroline); four grandchildren, Zach Hudson, Richard Barfield II, Abby Grace Hudson, and John David Barfield; and three sisters, Donna VanHoosen, Bonnie Debroux, and Denise Rustin. As well many nieces and nephews.
