Anna Jean Carron, originally from Angier, North Carolina residing in Macon, Georgia since 1982, passed away Wednesday, January 2nd 2019 at her home in Macon, Georgia. She is survived by her husband of nearly 63 years, Lucas Carron. She is also survived by her two sons, Terry Carron of Frankfort, Illinois and David Carron of Wheaton, Illinois, and one daughter, Carol Walker of Waverly Hall, Georgia, six siblings, Bobby Ausley, Fuquay of Varina, North Carolina, Hazel Wood of Apex, North Carolina, Cecil Ausley of Angier, North Carolina, Gerald Ausley of Statesboro, Georgia, Sammy Ausley of Rincon, Georgia and Ruth Barber of Willow Spring, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Pinner of Cave Creek, Arizona. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was a dear, sweet, godly woman Who Loved everyone unconditionally. She had a heart of gold and was always giving of her time and love to all, never expecting anything in return even if it meant doing without. She would always put her family first . She has never met a stranger and always talked about God's love and promise of salvation to everyone she met. Because of her faith in God, she was always able to persevere through difficult times.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama. Visitation is Wednesday, January 9th between 6 and 8 p.m. A funeral will be on Thursday, January 10th at 11 a.m. at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama.
