Wilson Brown Obituary

Mr. Wilson "Bill" Everette Brown of Smiths Station, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Mr. Brown, son to the late Mr. Chester Wilburn Brown and Ora Gosa Brown of Beaverton, Alabama, owned and operated as a professional truck driver for over 40 years. Prior to his career in the transportation field, Mr. Brown served in our United States Air Force. Bill Brown was a man who enjoyed life, camping, attending blue-grass festivals, boating, supporting our local Smiths Station Panther Football and Alabama Crimson Tide Football. 

This patriotic man is survived by his wife Jayne Faulkner Brown, three daughters, Lisa Duty, Shiela Joy Brown, and Kimberly Wright (Chris), one son, Daryl Brown. A brother, Danny Wayne Brown (Kari), a sister, Sue Brown Yarbrough (Ed), three grandchildren, Maranda Brown, Mason Wright, Max Wright, and numerous nieces and nephews are also among the family survivors. Mr. Brown was proceeded in death by his parents and a sister Eulene Burnette.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM EST, Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens directly after services.
