Martha Frances Hutchins, 84 of Phenix City, Alabama died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 at 4:00 PM EDT at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Reverend Roosevelt Oakes officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home & Crematory.

Martha was born May 7, 1933 in Barbour County, Alabama to the late John David Pittman and Laura Frances Harris Pittman. She was retired from West Point Pepperell with over 33 years service in the textiles industry. She enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and Alabama football.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Hutchins. Surviving are her children, Robert Eugene Hutchins, Jr. and wife Barbara Jean of Madison, Mississippi, Tommy Michael Hutchins and wife, Patricia Johnson of Smiths Station, Alabama and Debra Goodson of Phenix City, Alabama, sisters, Betty Jean Bieker and husband Gene of Golden Eagle, Illinois and Mary Ross Pitman and husband Gary of Danielsville, Georgia, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
