Jeffery "Jeff" Newsome, 53, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away May 18, 2017. A private memorial service will be held according to Colonial Funeral Home & Crematory.

Jeff was a dump truck driver for Joe Ryan Enterprises Company. He enjoyed computers and was a Trekkie.

Survivors are: brother and his wife, John Newsome and Pat Klein; brother and his wife, Mike Newsome and Ashely Belk Newsome; sister, Debbie Newsome Murphy; Nieces and Nephews, Chris Olsen, Leigh Baxter, Ali Morris, Jason Klein, Angela Newsome, Madison Newsome, Peyton Newsome, Kaitlynne Grove; and Aunts and Uncles and cousins.
