Dale Lawrence Davis, 65, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Saint Francis Hospital.

A memorial service with full military honors will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM EST at Power of Praise Assembly of God, Rev. Norman Garrison and Rev. Barry Danner officiating. Private interment will be held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.

Dale was born June 4, 1952 in Spokane, Washington to the late Anthony Joseph and Hazel Davis, he retired from the United States Army with over 20 years service, retired from Publix as a receiving clerk, member of Power of Praise Assembly of God, Chattahoochee Valley Southern Gospel Music Association, and created Christian Fun Day at Sanford Road Park.

Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Ruth Louise Alger Davis, son, Roger Dale Davis, daughter, Kerrie Etta Stewart both of Washington State, a step daughter, Virginia Symonds Wescott of Richmond, Virginia, 2 step sons, Philip Gordon Symonds of Smiths Station, Alabama, and Jospeh Charles Symonds of Phenix City, Alabama, a brother, Alvin Gary Davis of Kentucky, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
