Cherrie Flowers 73, passed away June 19, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born on December 19, 1943 in Jacksonville, Florida to Alfred and Frances Adams Long. Mrs. Flowers was a member of Smiths Station Baptist Church. Retired Secretary from Smiths Station High School. Married for over 55 years to Woodrow Flowers. She was a loving wife and mother of four children. Vicki Thigpen (spouse Brad) Mobile, AL Michael Flowers (spouse Julie) of Forsyth, GA Chris Flowers (spouse Becky) Smiths, AL Robin Lewis (spouse Roy) Salem, AL. She also had 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017 12:00pm Est. at Smiths Station Baptist Church Pastor David Kees will be officiating , visitation will be held one hour prior to service at Smiths Station Baptist Church 11:00am. Est. Interment will be at Smiths Station Baptist Church Cemetery.
