Smiths Station, Alabama- Funeral Services for Arnold Kenneth Franklin, Jr. will be held Friday, October 21, 2016, at 3:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron McCullough officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 PM ET at the funeral home. Kenneth was born August 31, 1954 in Frankfort, Germany, to the late Arnold Kenneth Franklin and Esther Potts Franklin. He was raised in Carrollton, Georgia, was a truck driver with Joe Ryan Trucking Company, Pentecostal by faith, enjoyed fishing, collecting petrified wood and antiques, and was known by his CB handle as “Snuffy”. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Linda Adams. Surviving are his wife, Deborah Jean Bailey Franklin, daughter, Stephanie Franklin of Smiths Station, Alabama, sons, Ken Franklin, and wife Heather of Columbia City, Indiana, Kenny Franklin, Dwayne Franklin, both of Starke, Florida, sister, Wanda Gibbs of Smiths Station, Alabama, grandchildren, Luke Moore, Saliese Franklin, Grant Franklin, Cora Franklin, Adam and Garrett.
