Alice May "Dot" Chappell Watson, 86, a native of Phenix City, Alabama died Wednesday morning, April 19, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Seth Carroll officiating.

Mrs. Watson was born August 12, 1930 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Eugene and Sallie Berry. She was a homemaker, Baptist by faith, enjoyed gardening, puzzles, her dogs, and talking on the telephone. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Watson, and a granddaughter, Heather Ashley Roney.

Surviving are her children, Belinda Roney of Phenix City, Billy Ray Watson of Phenix City, David Wayne Watson of Cataula, Georgia, and Tracey Lynn Watson of Smiths Station, Alabama, four grandchildren, Christopher Watson, Ryan Watson, Jennifer Ray, and Jessica Watson Parrish, eight great grandchildren.
